Video to Audio ExtractorExtract audio tracks from video files and save as MP3 or WAV.

This tool uses the HTML5 Video element to load the video file and the Web Audio API to capture the audio track. An AudioContext is created and the video's audio is routed through a MediaStreamAudioDestinationNode. Alternatively, the tool reads the video file as an ArrayBuffer and uses AudioContext.decodeAudioData() to extract the audio directly. The decoded AudioBuffer is then encoded into WAV format by writing the RIFF/WAV header with proper format chunks followed by the PCM audio data. The WAV encoding converts float32 samples to 16-bit integers, handling channel interleaving for stereo audio. The result is offered as a downloadable file with the proper MIME type and file extension.
